Trailer

Plot summary

Earth's outermost colony, Antares, was forgotten for 900 years, and in that time women came to rule while men became laborers in the mines. Adam Wade and Jake Carpenter arrive with a mission and a secret: a deadly virus has left women unable to bear children, and the two are sent to find the remaining fertile people and move them elsewhere. Their small spaceship crashes on the planet. There they meet Queen Sumuru, who governs, and the priestess Taxan, who leads a snake cult and worships a giant snake as a goddess. The men must also face anti-male prejudice and earthquakes.
