Plot summary

Rick Harding, a former Marine officer, works as a biological weapons scientist for the FBI. One night, as he packs up to leave the laboratory, armed soldiers led by the wanted criminal Carlos Gruber break in and take a large stock of a new germ warfare chemical, Bromax-360. Two of the intruders are lost as the group gets away. Gruber's soldiers then seize Air Force Two, the vice president's Boeing VC-25, on a flight from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. Harding's wife is aboard, and the FBI needs him in a midair attempt to retake the aircraft and to reach her and the vice president.
