Plot summary
Career-oriented Annabelle Colton has no intention of letting her Aunt Belle marry Sean Castleberry. Belle accepted the suave actor's proposal after a whirlwind romance, and he has been divorced several times. Annabelle finds an ally in Sean's son, Clay Castleberry, a successful surgeon who wants to stop the wedding as much as she does, though the two of them dislike each other from the start. Working together, they try to keep Belle and Sean from reaching the altar while the couple pushes ahead with their plans, and their efforts draw the frustration of the bride and groom. The story adapts a novel that its author first self-published in 2012, after publishers turned it down, and which became a bestseller.
