Plot summary

Extreme skiing and Big Mountain Skiing trace their roots to North America and Europe in the 1960s and 1970s, and to Bill Briggs' first descent of the Grand Teton, which is now famous. The film follows the sport from those early years through to the present day. Footage was shot in Alaska, France, Canada and Iceland, and the well known ski personalities appear in interviews and narratives about the sport. Those featured include Bill Briggs, Doug Coombs, Glen Plake, Shane McConkey, Seth Morrison, Andrew McLean, Ingrid Backstrom, Anselme Baud, Stefano De Benedetti, Chris Davenport, Eric Pehota, Rick Armstrong and Emily Coombs.
