Plot summary
Two men and three women set off on a camping trip. After they pitch the tents and celebrate, one of the women wants to be alone and hikes off at night. The next day the others find no sign that she slept in her tent, so they go searching. They find her at an abandoned mine, her foot trapped under a stone. A gold vein makes them put off asking for help so they can take all the gold they can. She agrees to wait there while they dig.
