Plot summary
Carter, a troubled veteran in a farmhouse, holds a shotgun with a single shell, and he has a twelve-year-old girl named Bird to protect from a hitman who wants no witness left alive. Bird is dropped off at a cemetery to visit two graves, where she photographs the hitman killing people at a burial. The man who brought her comes looking for her, and the hitman kills him. Bird runs into the woods and reaches Carter's house. The hitman follows her inside, and the two men shoot each other, leaving Carter upstairs and the hitman downstairs, and the photograph she took is still with her.
