Plot summary
By day Mason works telesales at an insurance company, selling over the phone. He paints and listens to jazz at night. A lonely introvert, his only friend is his boss, Berkeley, who watches over him and tolerates his strange behavior. Amber arrives as a new co-worker, and when awkward Mason meets her he begins to come out of himself. He starts to sketch her portrait, and disturbing voices from his past on the telephone surface.
