Plot summary
A spoof of recent Spanish cinema. Ramira, a clumsy woman, is taken on as housemaid and nanny in Laura's home, where Simeón and Ofendia live. Within minutes of arriving she puts the boy out in the sun, and his photodermatitis kills him. She conceals what happened and tells Laura a lie about it. Around the same time she gets to know Pedro San Antón, Laura's paraplegic brother, and the two fall in love. Supernatural visitors haunt the house, among them a Fairy and a Faun, and Ofendia gets the better of most of them. A frightening woman named Maligna Escobero advises Laura to have Simeón wear a sack mask for protection from the sun.
