Plot summary
Rachel and Gary are marking their anniversary when a car hits Gary outside a Tiffany's store. Rachel comes across a jewelry box among his belongings and takes it as a sign that he plans to propose. The box is not Gary's, though. It belongs to Ethan, one of the men who gave Gary first aid, and Ethan has ended up with the box of Tiffany earrings Gary bought for Rachel. The next morning, at his daughter Daisy's urging, Ethan goes to check on Gary at the hospital. Rachel introduces herself and asks Ethan to visit her bakery to thank him for his help. When Daisy asks to stay longer with a friend, Ethan returns and lends Rachel a hand with the rush.
