Plot summary
In April 2020, with the COVID-19 pandemic under way, best friends Parker Mason and Miri Woodlow head to a lake house owned by Parker's family so they can quarantine together, and they post about the trip on Instagram. After they arrive, Parker starts receiving texts from a number she does not recognize, and the messages unsettle them both. That evening a visitor pulls into the driveway and knocks at the door: DJ, a fling of Parker's, who ends up staying the night. He questions her about a photo on Instagram that showed her at a party kissing a boy, Benji, and she says she is not interested in anything serious. While DJ is out at his truck, a masked intruder gets into the house.
