Plot summary
On the campus where her brother Michael belongs to the most popular fraternity, Melissa Connell starts her freshman year. One of its members, Scott Baker, invites her to a party, and she goes with her roommates Jordan McCann and Kellie Salter. Scott keeps pressing alcohol on her although she says no, then hands her a Jell-O shot made with liquor. When she sees Jordan being carried upstairs and asks to check on her, Scott takes her to his room instead and rapes her. Melissa gets away and runs from the house in tears. The next day Scott calls the encounter consensual. She wants to press charges, but she has no evidence, and friends and classmates treat her as if she asked for it.
