Plot summary
Josh McCall has just moved into a new house with his wife Rachel and their six-year-old son Max when a car swerves off the road one night and hits a tree in the front yard. The crash unsettles the family, and Josh most of all. At work Josh has been passed up for a promotion, which Rachel blames on an unambitious attitude. He keeps watching the road in front of the house, fixed on the sharp corner.
