Plot summary
The singer Selena Quintanilla and Los Dinos, the band she performed with, are the subject of a documentary about her life and her influence. The film is built from previously unseen footage and photographs that follow her beginnings with the group. The people behind it sorted through a large body of material, making more than ten visits to catalog what they found. Members of the family served as executive producers, wanting the film made so that her legacy would continue.
