Plot summary
Alba, twenty, lives with her English father in a farmhouse near Lleida, where the two settled eighteen months ago. Her mother died of cancer in London, and her father decided to move to his wife's birthplace. Alba gives English lessons to Dídac, a ten-year-old fond of football and tractors. On the way back one day she sees three boys throw Dídac into a lake and dives in after him. When the two surface, a solar magnetic storm has left everything around them in ruins, and they believe they are the only survivors.
