The Barcelona Vampiress (2020) on Netflix

Plot summary

Barcelona, 1912, holds two worlds side by side: a bourgeois, modernist city and a sordid one. The disappearance of Teresa Guitart, the young daughter of a wealthy family, sets off public indignation across the country. The police settle on Enriqueta Martí, a brothel owner known as the Vampire of the Raval, as the suspect in the abductions and killings of children. Sebastià Comas, a journalist dependent on morphine, takes up the case and goes into the alleys, brothels and secrets of the El Raval district. He meets an underworld of exploitation and abuse, and an elite that will go to great lengths to hide its vices.
