Plot summary
Nick Fifer works as a sports lawyer, and his wife Deborah is a psychotherapist who has also published a book. The couple has been married for sixteen years and spends the anniversary at a shopping mall. There Nick tells Deborah that he has had an affair. Deborah, who believed the marriage was a happy one, is shocked, and she asks him for a divorce.
