Plot summary
A documentary on the life of Sachin Tendulkar, told through his own narration, interviews with fellow cricketers and celebrities, and recordings of his personal life and matches. It follows his childhood in Mumbai, where the 1983 World Cup win sparked his interest in cricket. His mother Rajani and father, a Marathi professor, raised him; his sister Savita gave him his first cricket bat. His brother Ajit took him to coach Ramakanth Achrekar, and a strict practice schedule from morning to night shaped him. A record school partnership with Vinod Kambli brought him attention in Mumbai. At fourteen he played Ranji Trophy cricket, and at sixteen he was selected for India, facing Pakistan in his first series.
