Plot summary
The film draws on the life of Vijay Barse, founder of the NGO Slum Soccer, and centers on Vijay Borade, a retired sports teacher in Nagpur. Borade keeps meeting teenage boys from the nearby slums, who spend their days on cards, fights, smoking and robbing passersby. Football is what he brings them, and his goal is to make a disciplined team out of this homeless, undisciplined group. He is sure the boys have unusual skills and potential, and that trust and validation are what they need.
