William Abadie

William Abadie is a French actor who studied at L'École Claude Mathieu in Paris and at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City. He was born in Saint-Raphaël and grew up between Megève and Paris before leaving France for New York at 25. The Actors Studio gave him a Life Time Membership in 2000, and two years later positive notices from New York Times theater critic Anita Gates for his self-produced Off-Broadway staging of Dennis McIntyre's Modigliani helped him find representation and begin working in American film and television. He portrayed characters in series including Sex and the City, The O.C., ER, Entourage, Ugly Betty, Gossip Girl and the Golden Globe-winning Homeland. His films include The Pink Panther (2006), playing opposite Steve Martin, and Resident Evil: Extinction. Since 2020 he has played Antoine Lambert in Emily in Paris, and in 2022 he was Zed in the HBO Max revival And Just Like That.
