Victoria Vetri
Biography
Victoria Vetri is an American actress and model who began working in front of the camera as a teenager. Born in Los Angeles to parents who had immigrated from Italy, she was often cast in ethnic roles early on, such as a Native American on Cheyenne, a Mexican on Wagon Train, an ancient Maya in Kings of the Sun (1963), and a Mexican in Chuka (1967). Robert Wise considered her for Maria in West Side Story before the part went to Natalie Wood. Under the name Angela Dorian, she was Playboy's Playmate of the Month for September 1967 and Playmate of the Year in 1968, and she used that name in the credits of Rosemary's Baby (1968). In January 1969 she agreed to a multi-picture deal with Warner Bros.-Seven Arts and took the lead in When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth (1970).
