Biography

Portia Doubleday is an American actress who grew up in Los Angeles in a show business family, the daughter of two former professional actors. She began appearing on screen as a child, with a commercial at eight and a small part in Legend of the Mummy (1998), though her parents made her finish high school first. After graduating she was cast in the pilot for United States of Tara but was replaced before the series went forward. Her break came as Sheeni Saunders opposite Michael Cera in the teen comedy Youth in Revolt (2009). She went on to roles in Almost Kings (2010) and a brief part in Her (2013), and played Angela Moss across all four seasons of the drama Mr. Robot from 2015 to 2019. She also appeared in Fantasy Island (2020).
