Nancy Kovack

Nancy Kovack is a retired American actress who worked in theater, film, and television. Born in Flint, Michigan, she attended the University of Michigan and did modeling before making her Broadway appearance in The Disenchanted in 1958. Her notable early film role was Medea, the high priestess, in Jason and the Argonauts (1963). She went on to appear in Strangers When We Meet (1960), Diary of a Madman (1963), The Outlaws Is Coming (1965), The Silencers (1966), and Frankie and Johnny (1966) with Elvis Presley. She lived in Iran for two and a half years, making three films there before returning to the United States in 1968. On television, she played a femme fatale in a Star Trek episode and appeared on Bewitched, Batman, Get Smart, and Hawaii Five-O. Her work on Mannix earned an Emmy nomination, and her last film role was in Marooned (1969).
