Linda Kozlowski
Biography
Linda Kozlowski is a retired American actress who got her start on the New York stage. Born in Fairfield, she completed Juilliard's drama division in 1981 and debuted that season in the off-Broadway production How It All Began. Her Broadway work included the role of Miss Forsythe in Death of a Salesman (1985). She landed her big break in 1986 as the female lead alongside Paul Hogan in the Australian film Crocodile Dundee (1986), playing Sue Charlton, and was nominated for a Golden Globe for best supporting actress. She returned to the role for Crocodile Dundee II (1988) and Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles (2001). Her other credits include Almost an Angel (1990), Backstreet Justice (1994) and Village of the Damned (1995), as well as the 1988 television miniseries Favorite Son. She has largely stepped away from acting.
