Steve Rackman
Biography
Steve Rackman is an actor and former professional wrestler who made his name in Australia as a wrestling villain before becoming familiar to filmgoers as Donk in the Crocodile Dundee series. Born in the UK, he lifted weights and boxed before turning to wrestling, and after moving to Australia he became a crowd villain on the World Championship Wrestling telecast that Channel Nine aired in the early 1970s, meeting rivals such as Larry O'Dea and Mario Milano and once facing André the Giant at Melbourne's Festival Hall. His first film role was the German miner Carl in The Last of the Knucklemen (1979), followed by Escape 2000 (1982), as a humanoid wolf hunting escaped prisoners, and At Last... Bullamakanka: The Motion Picture (1983). He played the bar tough guy Donk in Crocodile Dundee (1986) and its sequels Crocodile Dundee II (1988) and Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles (2001), and has appeared in more than 40 feature films.
