Kirk Cameron
Biography
Kirk Cameron is an American actor and producer who began acting at nine and became famous in his teens as Mike Seaver on the ABC sitcom Growing Pains, from 1985 to 1992, earning two Golden Globe nominations. He starred in the body-switch comedy Like Father Like Son (1987) and Listen to Me (1989), then headlined his own sitcom, Kirk, in the 1990s, and returned to the Seaver family in two later Growing Pains reunion films. In the 2000s he played Buck Williams in the Left Behind series, among them Left Behind: The Movie (2000), Left Behind II: Tribulation Force (2002) and Left Behind III: World at War (2005), and Caleb Holt in the low-budget Fireproof (2008), which was a box office success. He produced and starred in Lifemark (2022). Critics panned Saving Christmas (2014), which took Golden Raspberry awards for worst picture and worst screenplay, plus worst actor for Cameron.
