January Jones

Biography

January Jones is an American actress who started out in modeling in New York at 18 before turning to acting. Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, she took early screen roles in Anger Management (2003) and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights (2004), and she played Cadence Flaherty in American Wedding (2003) and the lead in the television film Love's Enduring Promise (2004). Later credits include The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), We Are Marshall (2006), Good Kill (2014), and the 2009 pirate radio film Pirate Radio. Her best known part is Betty Draper on Mad Men, which ran from 2007 to 2015 and brought her two Golden Globe nominations and an Emmy nomination. She also starred in Unknown (2011), Seeking Justice (2011), and X-Men: First Class (2011), and appeared in The Last Man on Earth, The Politician, and Spinning Out.
