Jane March
Biography
Jane March is an English actress and former model who began her career after winning a modeling contest at age 14 while a student at Nower Hill High School, which is in Pinner, north London. Born in Edgware in 1973, she continued modeling after her GCSEs and moved to Wimbledon. A cover shoot for Just Seventeen drew the attention of Laurence Duval Annaud, wife of director Jean-Jacques Annaud, which led to an audition in Paris on her 17th birthday. She won the female lead in The Lover (1992), adapted from Marguerite Duras's semi-autobiographical novel. Two years later, she co-starred with Bruce Willis in Richard Rush's erotic thriller Color of Night (1994), and Maxim magazine later placed her scene in that movie at the top of its list of cinema's greatest love scenes.
