Plot summary
Fantômas has taken Professor Marchand, a distinguished scientist, and is pressing him to build a super weapon meant to menace the world. Fantômas also plans to take a second scientist, Professor Lefèvre. The journalist Fandor disguises himself as Lefèvre and goes to a scientific conference in Rome, hoping to draw Fantômas into a kidnap attempt. Commissaire Juve takes up the case as well.
