Jacob Lofland

Biography

Jacob Lofland is an American actor who got his start through an open casting call. Born in Briggsville, Arkansas, he was still a teenager when regional newspaper notices led him to Jeff Nichols' Mud (2012), in which he played Neckbone alongside Matthew McConaughey and Tye Sheridan after auditions in Little Rock and Austin. He joined the cast of Little Accidents, which was presented at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, and he had a part in the fifth season of Justified. In 2015 he took the role of Aris in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015), returning to it for Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018). On television he also played the younger Eli McCullough in The Son in 2017, and in 2024 he took on the part of Cooper Norris in Landman, a Paramount+ series, as well as appearing that year in Joker: Folie à Deux (2024).
