Georgia Groome
Biography
Georgia Groome is an English actress who began performing as a child, training at her mother's performing arts school and other youth theaters before making her screen debut in the 2001 TV film A Fish Out of Water. She was cast at 14 in her first feature, London to Brighton (2006), playing a runaway. Her breakthrough came as Georgia Nicolson in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008), a role that earned her a Best Child Actor award at the Buster International Children's Film Festival. She also appeared in The Cottage (2008) and later in Papadopoulos & Sons (2012). On stage, she made her debut in Tusk Tusk at the Royal Court Theatre in 2009, and she has appeared in television series such as The Bill and Lewis.
