Plot summary
Derek is a London pimp, and Kelly is one of the women who works for him. He orders her to bring a young girl in from the streets for the mobster Duncan Allen. Kelly finds Joanne, a twelve-year-old runaway, at a train station and takes her to Duncan's house. When Joanne cries in the bedroom, Kelly intervenes and the two leave. By 3:07 in the morning both are shut inside a public toilet, Kelly's eye blackened and Joanne in tears. Kelly tells the girl to wait while she raises the fare to Brighton. Duncan's son Stuart learns what has happened and summons Derek, demanding the people responsible. Derek calls on his associate Chum, and the search for the two begins.
