Eric Bruskotter
Biography
Eric Bruskotter, an American actor, started acting in the mid-1980s with television appearances on shows such as Mr. Belvedere and Amazing Stories. Born in Fort Wayne, he gained attention for the 1987 film Can't Buy Me Love and later that year took the role of Private Scott Baker in the Vietnam War series Tour of Duty, leaving after one season but returning as a guest in its final season. He moved into feature films with parts in Crimson Tide and In the Line of Fire. He is best known for playing Rube Baker in Major League II and Major League: Back to the Minors. Other credits include two episodes of Walker Texas Ranger, a role in the 1997 science fiction film Starship Troopers, appearances on Sports Night, 24, and Glee.
