Don Galloway

Don Galloway was an American actor of stage, film and television who was born in Augusta, Kentucky, and studied drama at the University of Kentucky. He won a Theater World Award for his 1962 off-Broadway work in Bring Me a Warm Body, then began his television career that same year on the soap opera The Secret Storm. He played Mitchell Harris in Arrest and Trial and appeared in the sitcom 90 Bristol Court. After signing with Universal Studios in 1963, he guest-starred on many series. His best-known role came as Detective Sergeant Ed Brown on Ironside, which began as a 1967 TV movie with Raymond Burr and ran for eight seasons; he appeared in 198 of its 199 episodes. Later credits included The Big Chill (1983), General Hospital, and Perry Mason television films, and he returned to Ironside for a 1993 reunion movie. He died in 2009.
