Daniel Emilfork
Biography
Daniel Emilfork was a Chilean-born actor who built his career in France. Born on April 7, 1924, in Providencia, Chile, he settled in Paris in 1949, where he worked as an English teacher before studying acting with Tania Balachova. He became a character actor whose distinctive facial features helped him specialize in villainous roles. He worked in both theater and film. His film credits included The Devil's Nightmare (1971), Travels with My Aunt (1972), and The City of Lost Children (1995). He also appeared in Fellini's Casanova (1976), Pirates (1986), and Taxandria (1994). Emilfork continued to act throughout his life, and his final film was released in 2007. He died in 2006.
