Dana Barron
Biography
Dana Barron is an American actress who started out in commercials as a child and became known for playing Audrey Griswold in National Lampoon's Vacation (1983). Born in New York City, she came from a family of entertainers and was acting by age 10; at 11 she appeared on Broadway in Hide and Seek, and at 13 she made her film debut in the horror movie He Knows You're Alone. She originated Audrey in the 1983 Chevy Chase comedy and returned to the role two decades later for the NBC television movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure (2003). Her other credits include the soap opera One Life to Live between 1984 and 1985, The Magnificent Seven in 1998, and a recurring part on Beverly Hills, 90210. She won a Daytime Emmy in 1989 for the CBS after-school special No Means No.
