Dan Monahan
Biography
Dan Monahan is an actor who trained in the Professional Actors Training Program at Ohio University before moving to New York. He performed in commercials and Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway productions, and he appeared on Broadway in Richard III with Al Pacino at the Court Theatre. His film debut came in the erotic parody Paradiso Blu (1980). Bob Clark cast him as Pee Wee, the oversexed teenager in the teen-sex comedy Porky's (1981), the role he is best known for. He starred in Up the Creek (1984) with Tim Matheson and in the thriller The Night Flier (1997) with Miguel Ferrer. Other credits include From the Hip (1987), Shattered Illusions (1998), and Baby Geniuses (1999). On television he appeared in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1981) as well as How the West Was Won (1976). He has worked at the Mark Taper Forum, with The Abbey Theatre Company of Ireland, and at the Burt Reynolds Theatre in Jupiter, Florida.
