Colin Morgan
Biography
Colin Morgan is an Irish actor who trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, where the director Rufus Norris spotted him and gave him his London stage debut in Vernon God Little in 2007. Screen International named him a Star of Tomorrow in 2008, the year he took the lead in the BBC fantasy series Merlin, which ran until 2012 and brought him Best Actor in Drama Performance at the National Television Awards. He later played Leo Elster in Humans, Nathan Appleby in The Living and the Dead, and a detective sergeant in The Fall. His film roles include a homeless drug addict in Parked and a soldier in Testament of Youth, and he appeared in Kenneth Branagh's Belfast (2021).
