Christopher Redman

Christopher Redman is a Canadian actor whose screen career grew out of classical stage training. Born in Brampton, Ontario, he entered The Canadian Youth Academy at age seven, where he trained under Beverly Lundy and acted in dozens of productions over ten years, working on Shakespeare, Ibsen, and Tennessee Williams. During his final four years there he took a summer correspondence course in speech and drama through Trinity College, Cambridge, and graduated with honors at eighteen. He moved to Toronto and worked steadily in film and television, including K-19: The Widowmaker (2002), alongside Liam Neeson and Harrison Ford. After relocating to Vancouver in 2002, he acted in independent films such as 22 Hands and Timbuktu and in studio pictures including Catch and Release (2006) and 88 Minutes (2007). His credits also placed him with actors including Al Pacino, Bradley Cooper, Kim Basinger, and Peter Sarsgaard. He helped found the Amazing Posse Film Festival in Toronto.
