Charlotte Lewis
Biography
Born in Kensington in 1967, Charlotte Lewis is an English actress who first appeared on screen as a teenager in Roman Polanski's 1986 film Pirates. That same year she took the female lead, Kee Nang, in The Golden Child opposite Eddie Murphy, the role for which she is best known. She went on to appear in Storyville (1992) with James Spader, Men of War (1994) with Dolph Lundgren, and the direct-to-video horror film Embrace of the Vampire (1995). She also guest-starred on the sitcom Seinfeld and had a role in the 2003 film Hey DJ, after which she retired from acting. She returned briefly for the 2019 art film Lost Angelas, playing one of the title characters.
