Brett Claywell

Brett Claywell is an American actor who began performing as a child in children's theater in Greensboro, North Carolina, his hometown. He continued on stage through college, studying theater at North Carolina State University and also earning an architecture degree. After graduation he settled in Wilmington to pursue acting, and following short appearances on Dawson's Creek he landed a role in the One Tree Hill pilot, playing Tim Smith for three seasons on the WB/CW series. His most prominent part was Kyle Lewis, a young medical student on ABC's long-running daytime drama One Life to Live, which earned him critical acclaim, national recognition, and a GLAAD award. He also appeared in numerous episodes of Joss Whedon's FOX series Dollhouse and in the film The Final Season (2007), acting alongside Michael Angarano, Sean Astin, Powers Boothe, and Rachael Leigh Cook. In 2018 he was an executive producer on the basketball series Streetball Stories.
