Bob Sapp
Biography
Bob Sapp is an American bodybuilder and entertainer who grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and made his name in football, playing as a guard for the Washington Huskies and winning the Morris Trophy before the Chicago Bears drafted him in 1997. Brief spells with the Bears and the Minnesota Vikings followed, and he turned to professional wrestling in 2000 with NWA Wildside and WCW. It was in Japan that he became a star, competing in K-1 kickboxing and in mixed martial arts, where his size and his loud Beast persona made him popular. He won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in 2004 and has a combined fight record of 24 wins, 39 losses and one draw. He has also worked as a television personality and released a music CD, Sapp Time, in 2003.
