Benjamin Hollingsworth
Biography
Benjamin Hollingsworth is an actor who began in theater before moving into film and television. Born in Brockville, Ontario, he spent part of his childhood in Peterborough and performed in over 20 professional and regional stage productions during high school. He trained at the National Theatre School of Canada, finishing its conservatory program in 2006, and earned a Robert Merritt Award nomination for playing Lance Corporal Dawson in Neptune Theatre's Canadian premiere of A Few Good Men. From 2007 he shifted toward screen work, guest starring on series such as Degrassi, Heartland and The Line, and in 2009 he took a lead role in The Joneses (2009). He later appeared in The Beautiful Life, had a recurring part on Suits, and acted in the films Signed, Sealed, Delivered (2013), Joy Ride 3 (2014), Lucky in Love (2014) and Vendetta (2015).
