Plot summary

Seven leaders of the wealthiest democracies gather at a German hotel for the G7 summit, tasked with drafting a statement about an unspecified crisis. They do not take the work seriously. The Canadian prime minister wants to revive an old affair with the British prime minister, who refuses; the Canadian instead has a tryst with the German chancellor in the woods. After sunset, the French prime minister comes back to the gazebo outside, where the group had worked and eaten. He tells them he has seen reanimated bog bodies, the same ones excavated earlier that day. With the servers gone, all other people have vanished. The leaders set out to find anyone they can, but thick fog rolls in and they lose their way.
