Plot summary
Robert works as a disc jockey at a London radio station. Word reaches him that his brother has taken his own life, and he sets out by car, driving west from London toward Bristol to find out what he can about the death. The route carries him across late 1970s Britain, and the film is one of the few British road movies of the period. Ingrid, Kathy and Just Like Eddie are among the characters. New wave bands of the period supply the music, and it is shot in black and white. It is a British and German production.
