Plot summary
Max Stevenson works from home and avoids people, so his therapist suggests a dog, and he adopts a quiet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel he calls Chloe. Nicole Matthews stages houses for a living and keeps her distance from commitment, while her mother has already handed the family engagement ring to her younger sister. A stray dog she takes in beside her building's dumpster gets the name Channing Tatum. The two match on a dating app over photos of their pets and meet in the park, where his OCD and her extroverted manner make the date a disaster. When the dogs turn out to have mated, Nicole and Max have to co-parent.
