Plot summary
The Prestolani family runs a pizzeria in Verona, New Jersey, and the Montebello family runs a rival one across a brick wall. Gina Prestolani is a daughter of the first household, Joe Montebello a son of the second. They fall in love. Lou and Mary Prestolani, Annette Prestolani, Vinnie and Gloria Montebello and Nicky Montebello are among the relatives, and neither side welcomes the match.
