Pizza Boy Rick (2024) on Netflix

Plot summary

Rick lives on the outskirts of Atlanta and wants to be an actor. His trouble is that he cannot reach the deep feelings his craft demands, so he joins acting classes at a local church. When a fellow actor suggests another line of work, Rick starts delivering pizzas, trading auditions for a stack of boxes. On his first night of deliveries, he comes upon a dying man who needs help. The man tells him to drive across town before midnight, with his life depending on it. During the night Rick finds a locked safe in an empty parking lot, and the errand becomes a run through danger and split-second choices that will decide whether a stranger lives.
