Plot summary
Miles keeps journals recording his conquests, and his friend Cleaver thinks he should take on a bet. Before graduation, Miles must sleep with women whose surnames cover every letter of the alphabet from A to Z, and rarer first letters pay more. Miles already has a number of letters behind him, so he stands a good chance. The bet comes down to finding a girl whose surname starts with X, and Gabrielle has that letter. His roommate Ben, who has a crush on Gabrielle, becomes a problem for Miles, and he is torn between his feelings for Gabrielle and the bet.
