Plot summary
Alex, a computer programmer, writes a message for his colleague Susie and puts it on a floppy disk for his Jack Russell Terrier, PC, telling him to hand it to her and trust nobody else. An intruder, Anja, arrives at the house with her dog Sibelius. PC escapes but is struck by a car, and the family of fourteen-year-old Zac takes him in. Zac moved to Sydney from Melbourne with his mother Amy, his stepfather Stephen and his sister Binky, and he believes the disk is his. Susie and her daughter Samantha live next door.
