Plot summary
Anna and Greg meet at a party. A year later, Greg decides to move to Barcelona for a job as an air traffic controller and wants Anna to come with him. She waits tables in Paris and is content with the life she has there, while he sees in her no ambition to go further, and she refuses the move. Their argument over where to live unfolds against a Paris of rising social tensions and protests.
